Best Assessment of Our Tree Situation

Mike,

I'd like to thank you for the work you did on our trees after the previous snow/ice storm.

We had a competitive tree service come to appraise the damage; their recommendation was to remove a tree that provided important privacy for our property and their price was substantially more than yours. Further, they never followed up with us after they came and provided us an estimate.

You came to our house, assessed the damage, and made a proposal which included saving our tree. You gave us a date (which you met).

When you came to do the work, your professional credentials were clear. Your brought the right equipment (which included a bucket lift) to properly prune the tree.

It was incredible to see your enthusiasm and pride in the work you did. For me, having the right tools, knowing how to use them, along with your enthusiasm and pride are the signs of a true professional and craftsman...which you clearly are.

We are incredibly happy with the work you did...and the way you cleaned up after it was complete.

An unexpected side benefit: the way you trimmed the tree affords us a better view of the road as we leave our driveway.

There was work you could have attempted which you passed on because of your assessment of the conditions of the ground. I respect a professional that walks away from work that ultimately was not in their customer's best interest.

There is other tree work we are planning to have done this coming spring. I guarantee that we'll call you for that work too. In my book there is no better testimony than to hire someone twice.

Thanks again for your fair price along with your on-time and high quality service.

Best,
Tom Foth

Reliable and Diligent

large trees takedown, multiple trees, near houseSummit was one of 5 companies we contacted for estimates to remove a large oak tree, possibly the biggest and oldest in Monroe. [300 years old!]  Come see the stump if you need proof.

Mike came and looked at the tree and two smaller maple trees near it.  His recommendation was to remove all three trees because of damage and general poor condition.  He told us the job would take two days. We scheduled the work, and Mike, his crew and equipment arrived at exactly the time promised.

The job was done, the yard cleaned up by the end of the second day as promised. We were impressed with Mike's commitment to keeping his word and his thoroughness about keeping us advised of progress.

His crew was outstanding in their professionalism and courtesy. They worked without stopping, except for lunch, and stayed until all of the wood chips and sawdust were cleaned up.

We highly recommend Summit for any and all tree work.

Safe Work and Friendly Service

We are very pleased with the tree removal and level of service from Summit Tree and Lawn Service. Mike and his crew removed 20 Norwegian Spruce trees from our property. The trees were over 100 feet tall and ranged in diameter from 1 to 4+ feet. Some of the trees were less than three feet from the walls of our home.

Originally we requested estimates from 4 other arborists but the strategy suggested by Mike gave us the best value for the job. Summit quickly listed our property as covered under their insurance and provided us with proper verification.

I don’t know much about tree removal but Summit seemed to have some of the top-of-the-line equipment. The trees came down over the course of three days—one day less the other arborist estimates. At the end of job the yard was raked clean.

Aside from the actual tree removal we can’t say enough about the friendly crew at Summit. Twenty huge trees coming down in a residential neighborhood created quite an event. Even the neighbors commented on how approachable the crew was. Summit quickly and safely removed problem trees, which added great value to our property.

Thanks, Summit Tree and Lawn.

Exceeded Our Expectations

Dear Mike,

This letter is to congratulate you, your assistant, and your devoted, hard-working crew on the splendid performance displayed this week in regards to the removal of the various trees located on our property.

The removal of the one split, monstrous, estimated-two-hundred-year-old oak tree that was just a short distance from our home was not only nerve racking and straining, but downright dangerous. Your crew most certainly took all necessary precautions to rope and tighten up every branch and cut piece of wood, ensuring that there was no damage sustained to our home—and cleaned up upon completion. They were sweet, courteous and professional. Their bravery and courage are to be commended.

In regards to your personal customer service, we were very pleased with your knowledge and sincere and professional demeanor as it was able to put our nerves at ease, especially since we are not well-acquainted with this line of work. You were among many other competitors in your area; however, what distinguished you from the rest was your experience, eagerness to get the job done, honest pricing and initiative to provide business insurance coverage.

You did a superb job in exceeding our expectations, above and beyond! I will highly recommend your company to my family and friends.

If we were ever to require any further work to be done on our property, I would think of no one else that would be better fit to perform the task.

Thank you so very much for everything. We wish you the very best in your endeavors.

Cordially,
Lillian and Elias
